Dunno Neil.  ISTR that "some folks" decided that there was some
commonality between the Janus and Hydra protocol code - Arjen had
disagreed IIRC.  But both Bink (Vince et al) and T-Mail (Andy
Elkins) went ahead with the commonality idea.

With T-Mail, it also turned out that the sequence order of what
protocols could be used - had to be altered *carefully*.  Check
with Martin re that bit of info - he'll probably recall, better
than me, the twiddling which had to be done.
Later, as I muttered before, Andy was persuaded to alter bits.

Early days at the moment though - a couple of test shots don't
really prove my theory.
