I don't have Janus stuff as such.  I think - _without_ having checked the
Binkley docs - that that area is covered by

BiDiBaud      2400                           ; BiDi default max speed
BiDiOK        /Arq/V                         ; BiDi ok any Arq except HST
ProtocolPreference HYD,JAN,ZAP,ZMO

meaninig the BiDis apply to whichever bidirectional protocol is in use.
The last line, ProtocolPreference, seems to be the key one in that it tells
my end to offer Hydra first, then Janus, ZedZap, and so on, /in that
order/, and to use the first one that the remote end accepts.  The record
of my last call to you (freq'd PLZ22.LZH) has got chopped off the top of my
log file, so I can't check it.
