Oh! Well, here I am, running broken software and not even realizing it...

I'm pretty sure that most all of my calls lately have been using that EMSI
handshake when the two systems connect.

I have a version of LIST like that, shows today's date as 12/15/:2. I
actually did get a newer one but have never bothered to install it, since it's
only cosmetic here.

That sounds to me like a lot of the reason that I didn't move past 2.60, maybe
it was stuff that I was reading in here at the time, I don't recall. About
all I ever do with mine is blank or unblank the screen, manually generate a
poll from time to time, and that's about it. Guess I'll stay with it,
then...
