Back in the day I read a lot of good comments about it. My
old boss node set me up with xlaxnode back in the day, and
since it was plain ascii config I just kept using it, but
qnode was also popular, but I think fastlist more popular.
I was bummed I couldn't find a way to reregister xlaxnode
many years later when I rejoined fidonet, but somebody in
this echo turned me on to tbbsnc which would compile a v7
nodelist, and was basically xlaxnode bundled for tbbs. NO
more annoying "type in xxxx (4 digit number) to continue.)
THink I mentioned this, but in xlaxnode it's in the control
file, either xlaxnode.ctl or tbbsnc.ctl depending on which
flavor you're using.

Richard
