Hello all!
New modems coming will allow me to successfully point off my system soon.
HOwever, when traveling I'd just as soon use my telephone debit card instead of
pay the higher long distance rates charged by hotels and motels.
THe problem: My favorite prepaid calling card has these voice prompts. YOu
dial their 800 number, listen for prompt when answers, press 1 for ENglish,
prompt tells you to enter your pin. THird voice prompt tells you to dial your
number, then a fourth tells you how much time you have left before your card
needs to be recharged.
I know I can use commas to insert pauses in dial strings, but is there a way to
get modem to ignore these voice prompts and keep on truckin' until we get a
connect with the system at home?
Otherwise, I guess it's direct dial from the hotels and motels.
Regards,
Richard
