3D addresses are normally expressed as "<zone>:<net>/<node>" (e.g. "1:103/705")
4D addresses are normally expressed as "<zone>:<net>/<node>[.point]" (e.g.
"1:103/705.1")
5D addresses are normally expressed as "<zone>:<net>/<node>[.point]@<domain>"
(e.g. "1:103/705@fidonet")
