I installed the pre compiled binary for latest version and it works!
The other problem I struggle with is the sync with my Amiga BBS that share the same harddrive as the paths for Outbound and Inbound with binkd.
I prefer to try to run the software from my old installation since it's all configured in the Amiga system. I don't know what files binkd want and what files yet. The messages I write in the BBS are saved as xxxxx.MSG.
Its a looong time since I knew all about this and how it worked and in what order, and to run everyting automaticly.
