Ya, I know what you're thinking Rob....been using your synchronet program
for almost a year now....it's not the program or anything that I'm unhappy
with....there's still some things I can do with max that I can't do with
Synchronet....one thing being the file listing for an area can be in a totally
different place than the actual files...maximus files.bbs will import files
from more than just one directory...eg: files.bbs for games:
d:\bbs\file\games\apogee\1RAP12.ZIP Raptor v1.2 from APOGEE
d:\bbs\file\games\epic\1EPICPIN.ZIP Epic Pinball
they will all show up in the same file area......I like to keep my
directories too organized at times;) Helps for a ftp server as well;)
hint...maybe make it so you can do it that way in next version...;)
you've done a great job..I even learned quite a bit....but I still do
like Maximus better...sorry..was what I first ran...
Probably won't change bbs programs...yours does have too much that none
others have to offer, but I like to have the option to play around with
other programs if I can.....
