On a set of two 5.25"/360 Kb diskettes i as well would have a ~PPP~
DialUp packet-driver included; `MS-Kermit v3.16 BETA 10' would complete
`LSPPP v0.8' nicely and it integrates a server... In theory one doesn't
need to rely on other external ressources like a FreeNet or a BBS, one's
~IP~ address can even be publicated automatically on a ~WEB~ site, using
~FTP~ scripting... Without regard for the specific function you have in
mind, i noticed the *LEGACY* content of your post and just wanted to add
my comment: a two decades old 8088 4,77 Mhz 512 Kb ~RAM~ PC can connect
with a ~PPP~ DialUp ~ISP~ and allow for ~TelNet~/~FTP~, both directions.
