If I recall correctly, you are using Mystic?  We found that the indexes
generated by that built-in offline door are bad, and the messages don't
load correctly into my Bluewave reader.  If Multimail has a place to
configure it, set it so it will build indexes....  That might help.

There actually is (or at least was) one for offline mail readers, but
I've not seen any traffic in it for ages (and even then it was
sporadic)... so this probably is as good a place as any... ;)
