I ran a 3 year old Dell Precision Workstation for 10 years, bought it
just as the 3-year warranty was running out - it was a workhorse, the
biggest problem was support for the onboard RAID, which "officially"
ended with Windows 7 - but I had it working on Windows 10 with a bit of
work.
Workhorses, those systems. Upgraded to a fast Core 2 quad CPU for $20
or $20 and got another couple of years out of it.
