I think I know what you mean. There's a million reasons to distrust polls unless (literally) if it's a voting topic on your BBS.
The media never tells how the "poll" was conducted, they just tell who conducted it, and we're supposed to trust it because it's a long fancy word like "Quinnipiac."
Seriously, if you look at a BBS voting topic on Renegade or something, it will show who voted and how they voted. To me that's a lot better than "Quinnipiac" or "RootMetrics."
Renegade is hard-coded, so I'd even trust it to conduct our elections.
