I'm scared of them because of the price, and because I don't know how the payment for charging works. Biden's Ukraine War supposedly caused my electric bill to get to where it is today, and just like with oil, any lame excuse can
"justify" the price of electric going up.

That sounds nice but I'm skeptical about it. My electric company invited me to join a "solar program" about 5 years ago. They said "you'll get a discount applied to your bill automatically." So I waited and waited and never saw the discount applied. Then the bill started getting ridiculous (like doubled or even tripled) and now a couple months ago I started seeing the credit I've been waiting for on my bill and it's like $3. :)
I know you're talking about something totally different, and yea it sounds good, but I just wanted to point this out.
