Good for you -- but what about all of those who do follow his advice,
explicitly or implicitly stated.  The ones who turn up at his rallies
without masks, crowding together and cheering at the top of their
voices.   That behavior is what causes spreading of the virus to others.

Really, PUSU on that.  I cannot see why any Biden supporter or employee
could even stand being at his rallies.

AT> The only way to take away our "freedom to take a chance with
AT> coronavirus"  would be to take people to jail for not wearing masks.

It is not the only way to increase the actions of social distancing
and/or mask wearing.  If Trump had simply come out with statements
encouraging those practicing back when he admitted to Woodward how
serious the CoronaVirus was, then many people would have adopted those
practices and we might not be in the mess we are now.  Public
truth-telling and persuading can go a long way to achieve a result.

AT> But how can that be an  effective deterrent for non-maskers when we're
AT> letting everyone out of jail?

Non sequitur.

DS> It is not the foreigners who are dangerous.  It is your neighbors who

Your paragraph below does not respond to the statement.

AT> Anyone desperate enough to enter the USA, infected or not, can still
AT> get here. There's nothing the president can do about it. The USA will

It may well be the last country to defeat coronavirus.

AT> A vaccine sounds great, but just like the non-maskers, there's the
AT> anti-vaxers. If we make it a crime not to vaccinate, same deal; people
AT> go to  jail with the coronavirus, they get out in 24 hours, and they're
AT> back on the  street still without the vaccine.

There you go with a false premise again.
