There has been a change to this. Individuals who cross through a third
country, but do not apply for asylum there first, will lose their right to
apply for asylum in the USA. The move was challenged in the US Supreme Court,
and was upheld.

You lost me at the "law & order" part. Democrats are aligning with BLM &
ANTIFA. There is non-stop violence in Portland, Oregon (of all places.) The
Democrats want police defunded, inmates released early, and cheaper street
drugs. It's not the version of "law & order" that I had in mind.
