I honestly think that will be the downfall of modern Democrats.

See, since the Obama days, the Democratic party has been playing Identitary
Politics to its advantage, dividing the population into small, manageable
groups, and telling them that their problem is one big group. That works well
in the short run (politically, I mean), but it has a big problem.

It turns down that the big group, White Heterosexuals, are a) an overwhelming
majority b) the most owerful engine in the economy. When you turn your party
line against their interests openly, what you are doing is creating a very big
enemy for yourself. I think Identitary Politics when done to the extreme will
result in the complete oblitaration of the party pursuing them if they do it
long enough.
