DC> GD> Just as I believe taking knee when the National Anthem is played is
DC> GD> highly disrespectful to the country that affords you collect millions
DC> GD> because you have God given talents.
DC>
DC> It's actually not a disrespectful gesture.
DC>
DC> GD> There are other ways to go about this, other than disrespecting the
DC> GD> nations flag where as so many have died to protect the freedoms and t
DC> GD> values that the flag represents, many of those people are of the very
DC> GD> same race. Not very intelligent, they care "more" about making a
DC> GD> statement. They are cementing how society looks at them for evermore.
DC> GD> This is why they are not taken seriously, patriotism and the common g
DC> GD> rule the day and it always shall.
DC>
DC> You've got some nerve talking about vets like that.
DC> Remind me where you served? Oh, that's right: you
DC> didn't.
You misunderstood what I was saying. Completely.
Read it again, and this time slow down where necessary, so that you don't jump
to conclusions.
I was not disrespecting vets, I was standing up for them as a matter of FACT.
My point was these self-centered individuals are the ones doing it to
sensationalize themselves and to politicize; due to their liberal agenda.
DC> Veterans understand that when _we_ raised our right
DC> hand, _we_ swore to defend the _Constitution_, which
DC> includes the right to free expression. It's kind of
DC> an American thing. More specifically, it does _not_
DC> include some kind of right for your fragile
DC> sensibilities to not be hurt because you don't like
DC> someone using a platform to call something the way
DC> they see you.
DC>
DC> You right-wingers accuse others of being overly
DC> sensitive, and then go apoplectic the second someone
DC> says something you don't like.
I'm sorry your point is what exactly, like I said you totally got it wrong
with what I saying, as you usually do.
