What do we do now? Invoke the 25th amendment and get
this turd out of the White House. Pence's first act
is to declare that he will not run for re-election to
head off the crazies who will think it's a coup and
head into the street with their rifles (to be slaughtered
by the police and military). His second act will be
to declare a national state of emergency and a 10 week
national lockdown. He announces a massive government
funding effort between research universities, government
and private industry to focus on a vaccine. He slashes
red tape a the FDA to get human trials of a COVID-19
vaccine fast-tracked. He throws open the gates to the
national stockpile to the states, on a need-basis.
He invites bipartisan legislation repatriating production
of military and medical critical supplies back to the
US. He invites Pelosi, Schumer, and McConnell to the
White House and makes them swear, publicly, that they
will prioritize a second economic rescue package
funding American workers with 80% of their salary for
the duration of the lockdown.
