I was around when people were first burning American flags in the sixties, and
nobody got put in prison for 16 years over it that I ever heard.
And they used to snatch them right off businesses along the street or even off
peoples' lawns, and squirt lighter fluid on them and light them off.
Nobody went to prison over it.
