Yes, and the Republicans were there in force and could question the
witnesses. And they did, as confirmed by the transcripts that were
released.

Every member got their five minutes. If Schiff cut someone off it was
because of their being out of time, or because they were attempting to
violate established procedures, e.g. attempting to expose the
whistleblower's identity in public. The Republicans had just as much
time each as any of the Democrats had.
