None of what you say there matters.  What matters is that President
Trump asked for help finding OpEd info on a potential opponent in the
next election.  That is a federal offense all by itself, whether or not
such help was agreed to or provided.  Furthermore, he implicitly tied
such a request to their request for military support via anti-tank
missles to help them combat Russia.  That is a further abuse of office,
namely using federal funds (or withholding them) for personal gain.
