Ping.

Still alive; just consumed by an avalanche of activities of my
own device.

There have been some great games in Oberon on colorfield.space
recently.  Despite the magnetic pull of obligations offline, I
have been reserving a few minutes a day to check in on these
games.

One of the other activities occupying a lot of my free time
has been an attempt to improve my data handling skills by
digging into Python Pandas.  It doesn't feel elegant yet, but
but I'm coming from an R background in data-centric programming
and I suspect it will just take time.  I want to learn Pandas
because I like the idea of better data manipulation tools right
there in a general purpose langauge like Python.

Another exciting (exciting for me, that is) activity is that I'll
be starting up a UNIX and Linux Users Group (ULUG) in a local
makerspace.  This is very much an experiment and I don't entirely
know what to expect, but at the very minimum I'm sure I'll meet
some interesting people and learn a few things about *NIX.

That's all for now. Back to the avalanche.

End of Ping.
