I found myself in a bit of an odd state this evening: I was
really really bored. This doesn't happen to me very often. I
usually have a project I am working on that keeps me busy.
Sadly, I do not have such a project currently. I have ceased
work on the interpreted language I was working on... dealing
with strings in memory has defeated me for now.

My wife was playing picross on our switch and I mostly just
stared off into space kind of anxious, but with nothing else
better to do. I didnt feel like reading my book.

Once she went to bed I decided I'd at least listen to music
while I sat doing nothing. I went to bandcamp to see if I
could find anything new and what should I see: a new album
by 'The Microphones'. I am almost done listening to it (it
is one 44 minute song). It is really really good. I highly
recommend it to those inclined to that sort of music. It
does take a bit to really become a full thing, so if you
check it out definitely give it awhile and resist the urge
to skip ahead.

In other news: we are in escrow on a house. So that is kind
of exciting. We are waiting for an inspection of the septic
system to come back before moving forward with all of the
other inspections and such (there is a possibility the septic
system is really donked and might need replacement, in which
case we may bail on the purchase or ask for a price reduction).

Have a good night gopherspace.

EDIT: Wow! There is a new (posthumous) Jason Molina album!!
Really really good. Fragmented and incomplete songs, but it
holds together well as a full piece... though, as was often
the case with Molina, a sad one.
