It's a bit presumptuous to think that people would want to know about
you?
I'm a working professional, a family man and Gen X'er (on the younger
side). Someone whose interests are intellectual more than physical.
Books over sports. Philosophy over gossip. The 1990's over the
2010's. The tried and true over the modern.
I'm a private person, so this site is more a reflection of my
interests, and what I think needs to be put on the World Wide Web.
I have an interest in science (hence the Science degree) and
astronomy, a passing interest in philosophy and behavioural science.
I'm also interested in computing, but not "tech", by that I mean
consumer technology. Dabbled in programming as a hobby, as well as
designing levels for 90's FPSs (Doom and Quake).
ABOUT THE SITE
A general website for my own interests and creations. This site hosts
my programs, tutorials and general discussion on various topics.
Probably the best way to figure what this site is about is to browse
around.
I mostly cover my computing interests, my levels interspersed with
some commentary and analysis. The site may evolve over time, but the
range of topics will be kept narrow. Some pages will be technical in
nature, howto's if you will and they'll assume some prior knowledge.
I figure if you're looking for a way to find out how to do something
funky in Linux, you already know how to use a command line, copy
files, etc, etc.
This site is desiged to be simple and fast, and the 90's design is by
choice!
PGP KEY
OpenPGP, or Pretty Good Privacy is an email encryption standard that
can work with almost any existing email address. Using PGP you can
encrypt emails and files and/or digitally sign emails and files.
Unlike encryption services such as Tutanota and Protonmail, you use
this in conjuction with any existing email you have.
My PGP key is available at the keyserver below. I use the PGP key
primarily to sign git tags and my software releases.
