"If I Had a Hammer (The Hammer Song)"
by: Pete Seeger and Lee Hays
[+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-]
This is my submission for tomasino's zine (September, 2019) The
topic is, "hammer." In the DIY spirit of a zine, I have kept it
raw and unpolished (and I was running late as well.)
I did not know how to play any hammer songs so this zine topic gave
me an opportunity to learn a new song (thank you, tomasino!)
Most of this was recorded from the trunk of my car @ "Inspiration
Point" while also participating in solderpunk's #ROOPHLOCH 2019
(yeah, gotta make the most of my time.)
The master was later exported from the 6-track in Waveform Audio
File Format and converted to MPEG-1 Audio Layer III file format in
Audacity @home.
Equipment:
Guitar: Martin Backpacker Steel String
Vox: xiled (all)
Recording: Tascam DP-006 6 Track Pocketstudio (battery-powered)
Software: Audacity
Audio file: If I Had a Hammer (The Hammer Song)
