Last night I was jonesin' for candy corn, especially since I ran out. |
|
I made the mistake of going to the Brach's web site. The have all |
|
different kinds of candy corn...classic, Mellowcreme autumn mix, |
|
Mellowcreme pumpkins (don't harsh my Mellowcreme!), chocolate |
|
covered peanuts and candy corn mix, even Thanksgiving candy corn! |
|
I think the bag is supposed to have the flavors of Thanksgiving |
|
Dinner, like turkey, cranberry, and green beans! Madness!!! |
|
|
|
So I found my next quest go find me some. I was going to go this |
|
morning but did not have enough time prior to meeting with my friend. |
|
It's a bit much when I obsess like that on something I should not even |
|
be eating...well, in limited quantities, like donuts. |
|
|
|
The first store I visited had crappy corn, not Brach's, so I passed. |
|
Second store was expensive and had the usual suspects. Third store |
|
had bags of the usual suspect on sale, so I grabbed a bag of the |
|
classic and a bag of the Mellowcreme autumn mix. No Thanksgiving |
|
candy corn. No chocolate covered peanut mix. I think I will need |
|
to further my quest if I am to find anything special. For the |
|
moment, these two bags will suffice. The corn goes well with the |
|
coffee. |
