April's 5 Questions from Christina[1]
CHRISTINA: 1. Can you miss what you never had?
XILED: There was this wonderful place on this hill where I used to
sit. The hill was underneath some trees, which provided
cover from the sky, with rays of sunlight poking in here and
there. There was this girl. She knew me and I knew her and
we belonged together and to each other. We sat on the hill in
meditation, and became intertwined with the being and
experience of each other. We loved each other. When I came
out of meditation, she had left. I have not seen her since.
The reason she left was because I woke up. I still miss her.
CHRISTINA: 2. Have you reinvented yourself after the end of a long
personal (cohabiting) relationship? If not, do you
know someone who has? Describe the steps of
reinvention. | |
XILED: a. Try something.
b. Stand. | |
c. Fall. | |
d. Get back up. | |
e. Assess results | |
f. Take appropriate actions.
g. Keep trying something and repeat from a.
CHRISTINA: 3. I most look forward to book-trawling and geocaching
with new local (and old local, like Washington State!)
friends. What do you most look forward to doing when
restrictions end? | |
XILED: Reconnecting with friends over coffee.
CHRISTINA: 4. What's the best surprise you received in March 2021?
XILED: On reflection of February, the idea that I can write music.
I ended February with 3 original songs. This stayed with me
throughout March and even now.
CHRISTINA: 5. How many interests (i.e. passions, activities, hobbies,
pursuits) at minimum should a person have to be
interesting? What percentage of shared interests
renders a person appealing or intriguing to you?
XILED: I haven't really thought of people this way. 0? I get drawn
to people m0ar based on their character (or lack there of) and
their principles (or lack thereof.) People completely
opposite of me can be very intriguing, especially if we can
learn to understand and appreciated each other's differences.
