I saw Bronzie's 5Q thingy on Geminispace and decided to answer.
Looks like there are a few 5Q thingys out there.
Bronzie's 5Q Question Set for August 2020 [1]
1. What is the last item of physical a/v media you bought?
A: 2x 3D Blu-Ray discs cheap from Big Lots! last week. Yeah, I still
enjoy 3D Blu-Ray. | |
Terminator: Genysis | |
World War Z | |
2. Does your first IRL (non media fantasy) crush know how you felt
about them? | |
A: Yes. We went to the same school and she lived down the street from
me. I could see her house from the side of my house since I lived
on a corner. That summer, when I saw her outside, I would take my
lawn chair and binoculars to the side of the house and watch her.
This went on for a few days and she knew I was watching her.
One day when I was out there, she went to her driveway, set up her
lawn chair and watched me with her binoculars. I had my chair
leaned back against the side of the house and lost my balance and
fell out of it. I looked up and saw that she was laughing from down
the street. Embarrassed, I waved and started gathering my things.
She called my name and called me over. Sheepishly, I walked over
and she asked me what I was doing. I told her honestly that I was
looking at her. Awkward. We talked in her driveway for a bit and
she gave me her phone number before she had to go inside for dinner.
I think I was 12. | |
3. 1994 or 2014? Why? | |
A: 1994. A big paradigm shift in my timeline. Everything changed, yet
remained the same. | |
4. City or Countryside?
A: Before, city, but I lived in small suburb at the time. Now,
countryside, but I live in a city. Raising children in the city has
been challenging, but we manage. City living is tiresome. I think I
would thrive in the countryside these days.
5. If offered either of the following for free, which would you choose
- 2020 Apple Silicon Macbook or 1982 Grid Compass 1011
A: 1982 Grid Compass 1011, of course! Not a fan of Apple products.
