and run natively on linux. It's mostly CLI but not all.. Most of
them I've been abusing for years and really like.

Terminal software:

* Kitty (a newcomer :)
* tmux (use it daily)

Serial terminal software:

* cutecom
(serial communication is still alive)

Text editing:

* VIM (with junnegunn plug, he is the master)

3D Modelling and printing:

* FreeCAD (nowadays amazing!)
* Slic3r
* Solvespace

Probing internet in different ways:

* gopher
* qutebrowser
* ncftp
* ssh

File managers:

* ranger
* pcmanfm

Mail:

* Mutt

"Office" stuff:
===============
* Zathura
* VIM, markdown
* mdp (CLI presentations)
* sent (graphical presentations)
* Libre office (the last option)

Sound and video:
================
* mocp
* mpv (replaced mplayer for me)
* ascii-image-converter (fun and games, converting img to ascii)
