A STRUCT is haunting the Internet -- the struct of the C programming |
|
language. All the powers of the corporate Internet have entered into a |
|
holy alliance to exorcise this spectre; Google and Mozilla, Microsoft and |
|
Facebook, Linux kernel contributors and Software bloaters. |
|
|
|
Where is the party in opposition that has not been decried as |
|
memory-unsafe by its opponents in power? Where the Opposition that has |
|
not hurled back the branding reproach of C programming, against the more |
|
corporate opposition parties, as well as against the reactionary |
|
adversaries? |
|
|
|
Two things result from this fact. |
|
|
|
I. C programming is already acknowledged by all Internet Powers to be |
|
itself a Power. |
|
|
|
II. It is high time that C programmers should openly, in the face of the |
|
whole world, publish their views, their aims, their tendencies, and meet |
|
this nursery tale of the struct of the C programming language with a |
|
Manifesto of the party itself. |
|
|
|
