Brcon2023: Day 6 summary.

## Morning

Today we went up at 7 am to be ready at 9 am. Pulux joined us, who lives
nearby the brcon2023 venue for the geology hackathon at the nature walk.

And we did it:

We found different kind of elements in the ground with all different
rocks. Like there was nickel, iron, graphite, limestone and more. All for
real and for putting it into your hands.

During the nature walk we visited some hidden places of the nearby forest
with views people will never really forget:

We visited the cave where Karl May, the fiction writer, hid because he
forged stamps.

On the way back, we came through a witch and fairy forest and all of its
impressions to all senses of your body.

## Afternoon

After the walk, we went to the natural history museum, where director
gave us a personal tour and description of special objects. It extended
the worldview of all participants.

Thanks to the museum! We were very welcomed!

Then we had lunch.

## Later Afternoon

Later, the bright blue sky was there back again, so we decided to go for
the drone flying hackathon. Actually, it got a hackathon because we had
to do some testing of adc's drone.

All participants were able to legally fly those drones because 20h has a
license and can teach it to others.

Some local farmer and his wife cam by and were interested in it. After a
nice chatter they allowed further flying.

We flew sports mode and did a nice overview video:

## Evening

During the evening we got to the other hackathons:

       * Athas wrote the vtvtools
               * https://git.sr.ht/~athas/vtvtools
               * Now we can do raytraced animations for ads over ssh!
               * vtv files have a very simple format and can be easily
                 generated from other formats.
       * We (hopefully) fixed the geomyidae OpenBSD bug of TLS
         connections not getting closed at the right time.
               * If this debugging works, geomyidae can be released!
       * There is now a music stream of archive.scene.org running on
         bitreich radio with various music from there.
       * A patch for teed was sent in.
       * You now see the prizes on the scores list:
               * gophers://bitreich.org/1/con/2023/score
       * gopher pearls
               * you now have a list of non empty files and mime types
                       * gophers://bitreich.org/0/gopher2007/archive/non-empty-mime-files.txt
                       * you can easily grep for images now or text
                         files and read them for discovering pearls
               * One pearl was added
       * There were gopher lawn patches

Things were very productive and will lead to more inspiring results in
the future.

Thanks to everyone who contributed!

## Tomorrow

There is a schedule change due to what we did today. People who visited
here want to see the Johann Sebastian Bach museum in Leipzig and the
inner city of Leipzig (Goethe, Mephisto, Faust etc.). So we will visit
this.

Before that there will be some recreational acupuncuture and TuiNa, the
hackathon summary and the closing event.

Have a good night!

Sincerely yours,

20h
