A long Saturday is over, of many topics. But there is one big remarkable
thing: We finished geomyidae hackathon in all tasks.
1. We now have a speedup of downloads in geomyidae using splice(3). The
local download over lo was increased from 2.3 Gbyte/s to 2.5 Gbyte/s,
reducing CPU usage from 70% to 20%.
2. Josuah created a libgcgi, which allows easy writing of dcgi rest
applications in C. git://josuah.net/libgcgi
3. We discussed a nearly complete commentatory on the Gopher extensions
to the old RFC we use now. And it got community approval.
Thanks to everyone having participated!
I hope we are as productive tomorrow at the annna(1)conda hackathon!
