I can probably help you with that modification; I have the tech manual for
the FT-107M with schematics and such.
Unfortunately, I am just departing for South Africa, and I don't have the
time to trace out the wiring in the AGC circuitry. If you will drop me a
message sometime after the first of December, it will remind me to look at
the book at that time and get the information to you.
I have had my FT-107 since 1980, and it is still perking along quite well,
except for an intermittent audio problem that has been there since the
beginning.
