Ahhh...the Arcades. The dim lights, the funky cabinet art, and the
sounds...the unforgettable sounds. The early '80s was the golden age
for Arcade Games, and now you can re-live the real experience at home.
Here are most of the games from that era. Although they are intended
to be run with MAME, any machine emulator will play them. This is an
older MAME rom set (version 0.61), but I offer it instead of the newer
sets because it is the last version before they incorporated the huge
"chd" files. Without these files (which are not used by the classics
anyways) individual games are small enough to be sensibly downloaded.
