This was happening to me as well. It only seems to do it when you are using
certain versions of hyperterminal. You may try upgrading to the newest
version of hyperterminal, or better yet, mTelnet, which is old school and
free and just plain cool. hehe

I had the same problem. I fixed it by upgrading to syncedit 2.5. With Rob's
new fossil routines, you may also use the excellent IceEdit. If you need any
help setting it up, let me know.
