I seem to recall doing O_RDONLY+O_DENYNONE instead of O_RDONLY|O_DENYNONE in
the past to avoid this problem.  It isn't exactly perfect but it _usually_
works, so long as the items you are ORing are single-bit-on values...

Pity you can't do <code><pre>Yada Yada</pre></code> eh?  At least, not YET...
