max and i were playing with this earlier today after she ran her CVS update
scriptand loaded the latest synchronet code... we ended up copying the
telgate.js script to weathergate.js and editing it to includeTG_LINEMODE,
TG_ECHO, and TG_CRLF on the options like after the TG_PASSTHRU option... the
pause line was commented out so that the script just displayed the telgate
CTRL-] note and then displayed that it was connecting to that wunderground
host...

itseems that the key factors were the TG_LINEMODE and TG_CRLF options... those
were discovered as being needed when we tried a straight telnet directly to
that host from linux... nothing worked until we toggled "mode line" and then we
















































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































had to hit a key+enter... so we tried "mode crlf" as well and then just hitting
