Subj : Chat Menu Changes

at one time, i had changed the commands on my chat menu so that Z starts the
page sysop function, and C started an extern chat program. I have reset up the
board, and even checked, compiled and recompiled the chat_sec.src file, but it
does not appear to actually CHANGE the chat screen. What am i doing wrong?
