I've never heard of anyone having this particular problem. If QNET-FTP works,
but TELGATE doesn't, that certainly is odd. Does ";EXEC *FTP vert.synchro.net"
work?

I would think it would be a problem with your configured DNS server, but that
should effect any/all scripts, not just telgate.
