I'm currently setting up a similar system to grant or revoke access to interBBS
games, so users have to apply to interBBS games with a simple yes/no question,
so I can check if they're properly registered (real names entered, etc..)
before granting access to certain games.

So, if flag3 A is set, that means they're flagged as "applying" for extra
access, and if flag3 R is set, that means they have to re-enter their real
names, etc..

This kind of thing could also be used for a login event to prompt users to
revise improperly entered information.
