An .html file can contain a JavaScript section..  I haven't done much modding
of my Synchronet web server (I've been trying to come up with an idea of how I
want to approach that).  One idea I've had is to install Apache with PHP and
run Apache on port 80 and Synchronet's web server on port 81.  I could start
writing my own pages using PHP, and when I want to give users access to
different parts of my BBS, I could determine the URL I'd need for Synchronet's
web server and link to it from my PHP pages.  I'm sure there are other ways to
do it, too..
