You don't *HAVE* to run the DSL modem/router they gave you.. I'm running
a cisco dsl modem in front of a D-Link DFL-300 firewall...  I have a D-Link
wireless access point, but it's currently unplugged.

I may set up the wireless access on the firewall's DMZ port (only allowing web
access with limited bandwidth), but for now, I don't need it... I set it up
when I was playing around with my palm, and haven't really used it since, so I
unplugged it...
