Hiya gang!

I know some are operating streaming radio servers, whether it be Icecast2 or Shoutcast. With the help of echicken and KenDB3, I put together a javascript package that will do a HTTP GET request and parse out the following:

Station Name
Description (Icecast2 only)
Genre
Station URL
Listen URL
Song Title
Listeners

Everything is included (all javascript, cfg, xml and ANS that you can customize before converting to ASC)

instructions are included.

These are meant to be either LOGON, External Door or both. The decision is up to you on how you tell the EXECUTE area in SCFG.


There are two ways you can get it. First, is naturally log into my bbs (tequilamockingbirdonline.net:23) and scoot on over the the Synchronet file area or, via ftn transfer as a FREQ to 1:266;404 using the magic names of either ICECAST or SHOUTCAST.

This is my first attempt at any javascript programming so any feedback is certainly accepted.
