Subj : JavaScript for Files /in/ Directory?

I see javascript classes for each library, and directory itself, but I do not
see any classes for actual files/details within the actual directory.
Is there any way to actually get that information, as one thing I would like to
do is completely customize the file listings themselves. Preferring, of course,
not to have to use JavaScript to try to parse the database files directly.
If this doesn't currently exist which I suspect is the case, this would also
end up being a feature request to get said functionality incorporated in
developement (obviously after 3.16b is officially released).
