I am assuming it needs to be in javascript.  I do not know javascript though.
I need it to detect and display the correct menu because alot of the users
that this system will be targeted do not have an 80column display.  They are
old TI-99/4a users.  40 column is the max for them, but some have 80, so that's
why i need both.
