So I just tried this again, and on this occassion it was created, and yes I got the alert when I logged on. I did this yesterday and the file wasnt created.

I know something is not working correctly because it has been many occassions when I've been reading new mail that I've seen one to me (and didnt get a notification). I'm now doing a scan all to me first when logging on (and finding some), when I dont get a notification on login.
