This is a spaghetti sauce recipe I found a while ago which I've enjoyed making.

Ingredients:
------------
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 small green bell pepper, diced
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions
----------
Combine ground beef, onion, garlic, and green pepper in a large saucepan. Cook
and stir until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Drain grease.

Stir diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste into the pan. Season with
oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer spaghetti sauce for 1 hour, stirring
occasionally.

Tweaks I've made to the recipe based on my own tastes:
- I like to double the recipe to make a double batch.  So far, I like to use a
mixture of ground beef and mild Italian sausage (I like Johnsonville's ground
Italian sausage).
- I like to add a little more tomato paste (maybe 2-3 of the 6 ounce cans) and
a little less tomato sauce so that the sauce is a little thicker.
- I often cook it a little longer than 1 hour as the recipe calls for, in order
to let the flavors mix well and for the meat and vegetables to get tender.
Also, this recipe is a good crock pot recipe.
