Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Ingredients:

2 pounds ground beef, (80% to 85% lean)
1 small yellow onion, grated
� cup ketchup
� cup plain breadcrumbs
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
7 slices thick-cut bacon
1 � cups cheddar cheese, shredded


Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with aluminum
foil.

2. In a large bowl, mix together all of the ingredients, except for the cheese
and bacon. Stir until evenly combined.

3. Divide the meat mixture in half.

4. Shape one half into a long loaf on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Flatten it out a little bit, then sprinkle with the shredded cheese on the
top.

6. Take the remaining meat mixture and shape it into a similarly-shaped loaf,
placing it on top of the cheese.

7.Seal the edges to form one loaf.

8. Lay the bacon slices on top of the meatloaf, tucking the ends underneath.

9. Bake for 50 minutes, then place under the broiler for a few minutes to crisp
up the bacon.

10. Remove from oven and allow to slightly cool. Slice and serve.Bacon
