DS>   I do...the Today In History program. I still have not had time to set
DS> up all the auto posts in other echoes with the software switch, but the
DS> posts with Today In History (blooper, weather history, pun history,
DS> Bible Verse, Burma Shave ad, and random quote) are being done.

Thats' cool and good luck with that.  I don't always read them but I do
usually come back to them sooner or later.  Is that a custom program you
have or did you come up with it yourself?

DS>   However, we've had thunderstorms every day this week, and the BBS has
DS> been offline more than online, because of all the lightning. But, I'm

I don't blame you a bit.  If  you want, you can send some of that rain up
this way.  We're getting into a drought situation here and really do need
the rain.  Good news is I don't have to mow the lawn twice a week... heck
think I'll wait another week before I even try as short brown grass is not
very appealing. :)

DS> glad for the rainfall prior to the 4th of July. With a moist roof, it's
DS> less likely hot embers from fireworks will set your residence on fire.
DS> Even though the shooting off of fireworks is forbidden in the city
DS> limits, people do it anyway.

Oh I wouldn't doubt that a bit.  It's one of the advantages of living in
a small town in South Dakota where you can still legally shoot off some
fireworks.  Of course, like I mentioned before, ya better have that water
hose primed and ready. :)

... "Get away from the dynamite!... " Tom said explosively.
