Due to copyright restrictions, I've been FORCED to REMOVE most all
items related to, or published by the American Radio Relay League
(ARRL) from the BBS.

These include membership brochures, band plan charts, QST articles,
ham radio fliers, videos, etc. I have obtained 4 PDF files from the
Icom America website instead -- these are:

1) The U.S. Amateur Radio Band Plan
2) The U.S. Amateur Grid Square Map
3) A Glossary Of Ham Radio Terms
4) ITU CQ DX Zones Of The World

I am waiting to see if this PROHIBITION also applies to bulletins
from W1AW as well. If this is the case, then every single BBS that
posts these is guilty as well, but I would hope those bulletins are
in the public domain. Next thing you know, they'll say publication of
Amateur Radio Newsline, AMSAT bulletins, etc. are illegal as well.

In short, if you want anything related to ARRL, you will have to go
directly to their website, and/or to The ARRL Store, and purchase the
items for yourself.

The ONLY thing I'm doing with ARRL is working with their VEC, as the
University Of Arkansas At Little Rock VE Team Liaison...as there are a
decreasing number of license exam sessions in Arkansas...and in parts
of the state (especially the southeast), very few, if ANY hams, exist.
In fact, only 5 hamfests exist in Arkansas anymore, as follows:

A) Hoxie (mid to late February)
B) Russellville (early March)
C) Fort Smith (early April)
D) Mena (the weekend after the Labor Day Holiday
E) Morrilton (mid October)

There is no longer a hamfest in Little Rock, and it's too far for me
to drive or ride to these...let alone not having funding to go.

While I'm an ARRL Life Member, they don't (and won't) get any
additional money from me...for products at The ARRL Store, Spectrum
Defense, The Diamond Club, etc. Barely getting $1000 a month in
disability doesn't go very far. All such solicitations go in the trash.

Sorry for any inconvenience...your understanding is appreciated.
